A concert presented by concert:nova featuring music written for the double bass, with guest artists Nico Abondolo and Nadine Sierra. The first performance took place at the Bell loft, downtown Cincinnati for a private audience of 35. The second concert took place at Below Zero Lounge, downtown Cincinnati, for a public audience of 90. Nico spoke about the history of the double bass, it’s current uses, styles, genres, demonstrated it’s versatility and wrote an original composition that featured the instrument.
