FOOD + MUSIC FESTIVAL

Back by popular demand, c:n offers a delicious series of four concerts exploring the fusion of food and music. Coupling fresh ingredients and inspired menus with live music performance, the series features hand-selected musical pairings aimed to introduce food lovers to classical music and music fans to a selection of best dining the city has to offer.

For the price of a regular dinner, you get a unique genre-bending experience - a concert plus a delicious meal. Discover how sound can influence the way you taste food!

Ticket prices include the meal, the music tax and gratuity.



March 4, 2012  La Poste Eatery: French flair and 3-course fare with flutist Randolph Bowman and harpist Gillian Benet-Sella. The duo performs French pieces on their debut CD (available late Spring, 2012): Debussy's Afternoon of a Faun, Erik Satie's Gnossiens and Camille Saint-Saëns' Fantasie, and more.

March 11, 2012  A Salon Serenade: Serenades and Brunch by Renee Schuler of eatwell at a private home. Inspired by the Salons and Matinée Musicales of the 19th century, this elegant midday concert features Mozart Wind Octets. Program includes the glorious C Minor Wind Quintet by Mozart, and 3 Tanzstücke by Alfred Uhl.

March 12, 2012  Brass and Beer: Arnold’s Bar & Grill hosts a 4-course dinner and beer tasting menu along with a concert of German Brass Quintets in the Cincinnati tradition! Doug Lindsay leads the c:n brass in a program pairing beer and music.

March 18, 2012  Chef Cristian Pietoso creates a special Italian Brunch for concert:nova. A full String Quartet program at Via Vite on Fountain Square features Anna Reider and Minyoung Baik on violin, Joanne Wojtowicz on viola and Ted Nelson, cello. Program of Boccherini, Verdi and Nino Rota.
