Next: Generation

With the belief that art and music can transform people of all ages and backgrounds, we reaffirm our commitment to creating opportunities for all our children to experience the power of music. We are proud to enter into our fourth year of the NEXT:GENERATION training program for pre-professional young artists; excited to find a new partner with the Ben Carlson Berne Scholarship serving underprivileged young musicians in association with SCPA and Cincinnati Public Schools; and a LATE:NIGHT series in a young professional engagement initiative that brings classics to clubs.
In the spirit of discovery we celebrate our culture, our creative work, our friends, our children and our city.

Young pre-professional artists receive entrepreneurial training to enhance music conservatory education. Mentorship, skill building workshops and coaching open new paths and possibilities for a career in music upon graduation.

We are honored to be the home for the Ben Carlson Berne Memorial Scholarship that offers lessons, chamber music and interactive performance experiences for economically disadvantaged children grades 6-12 in Cincinnati Public Schools. As with college-level training, coaching & mentorship are an important aspect of this program.

The Adventure concerts offer live chamber music on make-shift stages in intimate public places. Keeping the music “high art”, the atmosphere is the opposite, relaxed and engaging. These are short performances that engage the audience in socially and culturally relevant topics. As an active participant in the music, see how your perception and connection to the music shifts.
