Pianist/Composer Anna Vinnitsky has established a diverse career as in-demand soloist, collaborative artist, educator and composer. She maintains an extensive performance schedule as recitalist and collaborative artist across the United States, Israel and Western Europe, performing in such iconic venues as Chicago’s Orchestra Hall, Leipzig Gewandhaus, Merkin Hall, Tenri Cultural Center, as well as Auditorium Haifa.
Anna performs regularly with international soloists as well as New York Philharmonic, Philadelphia Orchestra, Metropolitan Opera Orchestra and Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra members.
As a composer, upcoming performances include works for clarinet solo, clarinet and piano and piano solo. In March 2024 a world premier of her Klezmer Concerto for Clarinet, Bass Clarinet and Orchestra will take place at the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music.
As a passionate advocate of music education Anna has served on the piano faculty of the Kaufman Center’s Lucy Moses School and is a founder of Westchester Piano Studio - an innovative education initiative providing the highest quality piano instruction to students through individualized curricula focused on artistic development, performance presentation, ear training, and theory. Currently, Ms. Vinnitsky holds a teaching position at The Seven Hills School and Indian Springs Academy of Music and has been a guest lecturer at Universities nation-wide.
Dr. Vinnitsky holds a Doctorate of Musical Arts from State University of New York (SUNY) at Stony Brook, as well as master’s degree from DePaul University in Chicago.
Anna currently resides in Cincinnati with her husband, the clarinetist Pavel Vinnitsky, and their son Daniel.
