Rebecca Pancner

Rebecca Pancner is the tenured piccolo player for the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra.
As a performer, Rebecca is a past prize winner for various solo competitions including the National Flute Association Piccolo Artist Competition, the Walfrid Kujala International Piccolo Competition, the Indiana University Woodwind Concerto Competition, YoungArts, and the Sunrise Pops Concerto Competition, among others. She has also participated in distinguished summer festivals that include Aspen Music Festival, Sarasota Music Festival, Chautauqua Summer Festival Orchestra, and Miami Music Festival.
As a teacher, she holds a private flute studio within Cincinnati, and she has taught masterclasses at collegiate music programs, such as Indiana University, Cincinnati Conservatory of Music, and Eastern Kentucky University.
Prior to Cincinnati, Rebecca was a flute and piccolo fellow with The Orchestra Now. She earned her Master of Music degree in Flute Performance at Indiana University Jacobs School of Music, and earned her Bachelor of Music degree in Flute Performance from the University of Miami, Frost School of Music.
