From 2007 to 2024, Heike Tauch and Florian Goldberg realised plays together under the stage name tauchgold at the interface between radio and stage. Their works include social satires, historical dramas and philosophical material. However, specially composed music always plays a central role.
In 2019, their stage work ‘Das Gläserne Meer. A Narratorio for Strings and Voices’ premieres in Munich with a composition by Cathy Milliken and based on the radio play “Metamorphosen” (Deutschlandfunk, 2015).

The composer Dai Fujikura writes the music for tauchgold’s work ‘Geborgte Landschaft’ (Deutschlandfunk, 2022). The English stage version ‘BORROWED LANDSCAPE. A Narratorio for Piano Trio and Voices’ premieres in New York in 2023. A Japanese stage version follows in Hiroshima in spring 2025.

From 2022 to 2024, tauchgold conceives and stages the interdisciplinary series ‘Mensch, Musik!’ for the Rundfunk-Sinfonieorchester Berlin (RSB).

Their last joint work is the narratorio ‘Nobody's Nothings - The siblings Francesco and Eleonora von Mendelssohn ’, again with music by Dai Fujikura (RBB 2024). One week after completing the production, Heike Tauch dies of cancer.

With the death of his companion in love and art, Florian Goldberg continues the work of tauchgold on his own and with friends.
